After a career in print design, I am now focusing on inspiring landscapes and creating modern pieces utilizing bright interpretation & acrylic colours.
I use acrylics with many size brushes and slab knives. I believe that working in many sizes from small to large is a major part of my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
I enjoy many sports in the outdoor surrounding escarpment where I live at Blue Mountain, Ontario, Canada and also in Costa Rica. When I paint, my pieces are directly influenced by my surroundings in nature. I love recreating shapes and colours that surround me.
It excites me to see the placement in the home after a painting is sold!
My name is Jacqueline but my nickname is Jake, given to me by my father at an early age. He was an extraordinary talented architect. Painting is my happy place, and I look forward to my time in front of each canvas every day.
Any new events that are upcoming, you will find out.
